Northern Province The Sable Valley and Serendipity hiking trails are situated on the 2 000 hectare farm Naauwpoort, in the Naboomspruit district, Northern Transvaal, 140 kilometers from Pretoria. The trails stretch over an unusual combination of valleys, gorges, savanna and mountain streams. Rock pools with crystal clear water, waterfalls (during the rainy season), indigenous forests and panoramic views of the Waterberg await the hiker. A large variety of trees, abundant bird life and game can be seen and enjoyed by the hiker.
